Barcelona have identified Marcus Rashford as their plan B should they fail in their attempts to sign Antoine Griezmann or bring Neymar back to Camp Nou following his spell at Paris Saint-Germain, according to Spanish outlet SPORT.
With Luis Suárez now 32, the La Liga club are reportedly looking to bring in other options in the number-nine role and have made contact with Manchester United about Rashford’s availability.
Rashford, who has one year left remaining on his deal at Old Trafford with an option for a further year, scored ten goals in the Premier League for United this season and it’s believed Ole Gunnar Solskjær will use the 21-year-old as his talisman if Romelu Lukaku leaves for Serie A, rather than replacing the Belgian.

A switch from United is highly unlikely for Rashford, though, with Barcelona preferring Griezmann and Neymar over the England international in addition to how highly Solskjær thinks of him.
Barcelona and Ernesto Valverde will be looking to bring in players to aid their chances of winning the Champions League next season after failing to win Europe’s most prestigious club competition since 2015, and Griezmann may be the most likely after revealing he will leave Atlético Madrid this summer.
